In this tutorial, I take my first deep dive into X-Particles 3 to show you how to create melting, plasticine paint drips in Cinema 4D!  If you don’t know about X-Particles, you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years!  It’s a pretty amazing plug-in that makes creating and manipulating particles super easy.  It was built with the intuitiveness of Cinema 4D’s Mograph Module so it’s got a pretty low learning curve.  First, I’ll start out by introducing the X-Particles Emitter, move onto covering a few particle modifiers and what they do.  Then, we’ll discover the really fun Skinner object and we’ll finish up by applying a bit of fluid simulation forces to our particles by using the XP Fluids engine.  If you have any questions, be sure to hit me in the comments below!  Have fun and if you make something with this technique, be sure to share it!  Enjoy!
